Some aggrieved youth of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Saboba Constituency in the Northern region have vandalized the NPP constituency party office.
In the early hours of Saturday June 6, the youth were seen breaking louvre blades, burning car tyres amidst chanting of war songs.
This follows the disqualification of Emmanuel Kotin, a security analyst, from contesting the Saboba NPP parliamentary primaries schedule for June 20.
In a 2:28 minutes video which is in circulation, some of the youth were seen asking the National executives of the party to explain why Emmanuel Kotin was disqualified.
They blamed the Defence minister and Member of Parliament for Bimbila constituency Dominic Nitiwul for masterminding the disqualification of Mr. Kotin.
They said, the party will see more of such aggression if they fail to reinstate Mr. Kotin just as they have done in other constituencies.
They gave the party three days to reinstate their aspirant or they will go any length to disorganize activities of the party..
As at the time of filing this report, no arrest was made despite the matter being reported to the Saboba Police.
The police have since visited the area with some party executives to assess the extent of damage.
Efforts to get the party leadership to speak to the issue yielded no positive result.
Emmanuel Kotin was disqualified by the vetting committee chaired by Sammy Awuku in February this year.
