Starting strong is not as important as finishing strong. Just as many are called but few are chosen, many start strong but few finish strong.
In order to finish strong in any endeavor, count the cost before you start and ensure that you always have a rich reservoir of energy and resources to keep you going.
Be like the wise virgins who had extra oil in their lamps. It is the extra oil that makes the difference between those who fall off and those who keep going. Pray for extra grace, extra strength, extra wisdom, and always have more than you’re required to and there will be no stopping you.
My prayer for you today is that your victory will not be a momentary event but a lifestyle that ends in glory.
“He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 1:8)
