BlowChem Industries Limited, producers of Bel aqua mineral water and Bel beverages have donated items to three institutions as part of efforts to help curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus in Ghana.
The beneficiary institutions are the Ghana Armed Forces, Tema General Hospital and the Ghana Police Service.
Items such as drinks, water, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and hand gloves were presented to support the frontliners at these various institutions in their fight to eradicate the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Mr. Moses Koranteng Fei, Marketing Manager for Bel Beverages presented the items on behalf of BlowChem Industries.
A Commissioner of Police at the Ghana Police Service, Mr. Monney received 100 packs of Bel aqua water, 100 packs of Bel aqua Active water, 50 packs of Big Boss Energy drink and 100 bottles of hand sanitizers on behalf of the Ghana Police Service.
The items for the Ghana Armed Forces was received by Chief Staff Officer, Brigadier Amoah. They are: 100 packs of Bel aqua water, 100 packs of Bel aqua Active water , 50 packs of Big Boss Energy drink and 100 bottles of hand sanitizers.Medical Director of the Tema General Hospital, Dr. Richard Anthony, on behalf of the hospital, received 100 packs of Bel aqua water, 50 packs of Bel aqua Active water, 40 gallons of disinfectant, 15 gallons of bleach, 20 boxes of hand gloves and 100 bottles of hand sanitizers.
The institutions expressed their appreciation to BlowChem Industries Limited and assured that the items will be used for the purposes they were donated for. They appealed to other organizations to emulate the gesture and support institutions at the forefront of the battle against the deadly coronavirus.
They also urged Ghanaians to adhere to the lockdown directives of the president.
