Ayorkor Botchwey recalled the recent state visit of President of Sierra Leone, Mr. Julius Maada Bio, remarking that Ghana was happy to have hosted him. She assured that Ghana would continue to cooperate with Sierra Leone for the mutual benefit of both countries. Frances Anderson on her part revealed that the state visit by President Julius Maada Bio was very successful. She assured that her country would work to ensure the successful implementation of the joint communiqué on cooperation which was signed during President Bio’s visit to Ghana. She also thanked Ghana for supporting Sierra Leone over the years. The Sierra Leonean president paid a two-day official visit to Ghana on October 22-23, 2018. The visit was to strengthen and deepen the ties of friendship and co-operation between Ghana and Sierra Leone, as well as explore other areas of co-operation between the two countries.
