Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has expressed profound humility and honour having been retained as the running mate to John Dramani Mahama for Ghana’s 2024 elections.
This marked the second time former president Mahama had chosen her for this role, a decision that showcased his consistent commitment to inclusivity and belief in the Ghanaian woman.
Opoku-Agyemang extended her gratitude to the NDC Council of Elders, the National Executive Committee, party members, supporters, and all Ghanaians for their overwhelming support.
Acknowledging the challenges facing the nation, she emphasised her readiness to collaborate with Mahama to serve Ghana with integrity, dignity, and patriotism.
Confident in Mahama’s leadership qualities, Opoku-Agyemang pledged to give her all to the noble task ahead. She underscored the urgent need for visionary and inclusive leadership to address the country’s issues and transform its fortunes.
With a firm belief in the NDC’s determination to build a better Ghana, Opoku-Agyemang urged unity and hard work to achieve their shared goals.
