Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency Dorcas Affo-Toffey has joined National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentarians to intensify campaigning ahead of the Assin North by-election on Tuesday, June 27.
The party was strongly represented in the Constituency as it marked its 31st anniversary on Saturday, June 10.
On Sunday, leadership including Minority MPs took to the streets of Assin North to campaign.
They moved from house to house, church to church and market to market in the constituency.
“This is in support of the NDC candidate, Mr. James Gyakye Quayson in the June 27 by-election,” Madam Affo-Toffey wrote after the vigorous campaign.
She also made especial mention of North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and South Dayi MP Joyce Tetteh “for their tremendous participation”.
“We hope the NDC retains the seat come June 27.”
