A retired Supreme Court Judge and former Chief Justice of Gambia, Justice Brobby has admonished politicians to learn from athletes whom he calls gallant losers for the kind of traits they exhibit when they lose a race.
He said in athletics, when you lose you prepare and come back another day.
He has therefore advised against the use of intemperate language, noting that politicians, unfortunately due to their crave for power, mount platforms and say things which they regret later.
According to him, some politicians are forced to eat their words whilst others are forced to rationalize what they said in the past.
As Ghana prepares to hold another general elections next year, the former Gambian Chief Justice has asked politicians pursue peace in whatever they do.
Justice Brobbey made these remarks when he accepted to chair the 10th Anniversary Celebration Event of GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human.
The event was started 10 years ago by Rexs Brobby a former National athlete. It was held on April 3, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
