The Member of Parliament for Agona West in the Central Region, Mrs. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, has presented two sets of jerseys, two footballs and undisclosed amount of money to support the ongoing Edukrom Christmas Gala in the constituency.
Making the Presentation to the organizers of the gala competition on Sunday, on behalf of the MP, the NPP Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Gibrine Tanko Toye was hopeful the donation would go a long way to enhance the efficiency of youth football in various communities.
The Constituency Organizer, David Essandoh, popularly known as SamToys, also used the opportunity to advise the youth to abstain from acts of violence and rather focus on making education a priority.
He also advised parents to show extra interest in the education of their wards.
Receiving the items on behalf of the clubs, the organizers of the gala competition expressed gratitude to the MP for the kind gesture and appealed for more of such supports.
They promised to use the items for the intended purpose so as to build the talents of children in the community in sporting activities.
