Two-time winner of Artiste of the Year award, Stonebwoy has expressed gratitude and appreciation to his fans for their support after winning the award on Saturday, June 1.
The Reggae Dancehall artiste in a tweet on June 2 said the award is a testament of his hard work and deeds.
Prior to the awards, netizens have debated about who should take the award with several argument wrangling between the fans of Stonebwoy and King Promise.
The nine times winner of the Reggae Dancehall Artiste in his tweet said the award is a testimony to persons who resonate with the hard work and hustle of life’s journey.
“All those who debate and argue the earth on my behalf, Our Deeds Are Speaking Volumes. For those Who trust that my hustle is a true reflection of their own individual stories Here is a proof that you’re a winner,” he wrote on X.
He added that the award is a reflection of his great talent urging others to be inspired by his achievement.
“This Reward of hard work is a True testament that inside of me lies one of the Greatest Talents to ever emerge out of Africa and if this makes me better than others, may they be inspired because there are others above, that inspire me too. To God Be The Glory,” Stonebwoy said.
Stonebwoy won the ultimate award for the night – the Artiste of the Year award at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
This makes it his second win of the award after he first picked it in 2015. The ‘Into the Future’ crooner contended the most prestigious award with Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene, King Promise and Nacee for the year under review.
Stonebwoy’s exploit for the year under review have been remarkable as he grabbed five other awards at the 25th TGMA.
The Reggae/Dancehall artiste was the most decorated artiste for the night sending home the awards for the International Collaboration of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Reggae Dancehall artiste of the Year, Record of the Year and Album/EP of the year.
