Regimanuel Gray Group (RG Group) has marked the Company’s Founder’s Day with a tree planting exercise at its new 1,200-acre development near East Legon Hills in Accra.
RG Group has instituted 31st March of each year as Founder’s Day to commemorate the birthday of its Executive Chairman and Founder, Mr Emmanuel Botchwey.
The day is set aside to be observed each year with the objective of reflecting on the Company’s journey and founding principles, and to examine the pursuit of its vision.
Commenting on the event, Marketing and Communications Manager of the RG Group, Mr. Michael Djanie said, “We have already crossed 10,000 trees planted in the lifetime of Regimanuel Gray’s Real Estate Development, thanks to our Chairman’s passion for trees and green spaces. Yesterday, as we marked Founder’s Day to commemorate his birthday, Mr Botchwey led our team once again to continue tree planting at our new 1,200-acre development territory”.
RG Group is Ghana’s leading Real Estate Developer by size of developments. 3,250 acres have been developed over its 30-year history, plus 1,200 acres currently under development in Accra.
Development locations include Tema (Community 13, 14, 15, 18, 19 & 20), Accra (Teshie-Nungua, East Airport, Accra, Klagon, Kwabenya), Sekondi-Takoradi (Essipong) and Freetown (Goderich) – Sierra Leone.
