NDC flagbearer hopeful, Sylvester Adinam Mensah has called on delegates of the National Democratic Congress to give him the mandate to lead the party into the 2020 elections to rescue the country from the “clueless hands” of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government. According to Mr. Mensah, the government has so far failed to fulfill its numerous flagship programs. Hed told delegates that what the NPP is doing in government can best be termed ‘Bawumia Economics’ which has rendered economic fundamentals of the country very weak thereby exposing Ghanaians to lots of hardship. “The NPP as a political party in government is failing. Free SHS is failing; 1 district 1 factory is failing; 1 village 1 dam is failing. Of course, if the fundamentals are weak, your free SHS will expose you. If your fundamentals are weak, you can’t achieve 1 village 1 dam. If your fundamentals are weak, your petrol prices will go up and expose you. If your fundamentals are weak, you will borrow over $35b in 20 months and consume all today and get nothing for investment. If your fundamentals are weak, your banking system will expose you”, he said. Mr. Mensah was speaking at Builsa North Constituency where he met with branch and Constituency executives, as part of his 5-day campaign tour in the Upper East Region. Before going to Builsa North, TeamSly met with branch and Constituency executives in Bongo, Nabdam, Bolga Central, Bolga East, Pusiga, Bawku, Chiana Paga, Navrongo Central, Binduri, Zebilla, Garu, and Tempane Constituencies. Ghana needs strategic management expert and finance professional, Mr Mensah said and revealed to delegates that so far, Ghana has experienced the leadership of a president who was a philosopher, a president who was a military man, a president who was a lawyer, a president who was a law Professor, a president who was a communication expert and a president who was a lawyer. “The time has come for this country to be led by a Strategic Management Expert and a Finance Professional, Sylvester Adinam Mensah,” Mr Mensah asserted Source: 3news.com | Ghana]]>
