Monuments of Mao Zedong of China and Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana are erected in their respective nations to preserve legacies of the two leaders who initiated the China-Ghana relationship, but patronage of the hometowns of these founding fathers have relatively different stories.
Whereas several thousands of tourists from China and abroad visit Shaoshan on the Army Day, two hundred and fifty tourists had visited Nkroful as of the Founder’s Day on September 21.
