Kwesi Nyantakyi[/caption] Sheikh Tophic Sienu, a spokesperson for the embattled former GFA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has revealed that his boss will use Anas’ own video to battle him in court. Mr. Nyantakyi was captured in a secretly recorded video by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas allegedly compromising his position as the then GFA boss contrary to the ethics of the FA. The beleaguered former GFA boss who’s currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Police Service has sued Anas Aremeyaw Anas and Tiger Eye PI at the Accra High Court for defamation. He is thus seeking punitive damages against the defendants for defamation. Additionally, he is praying the court for a perpetual injunction restraining the defendants from further publishing the video it. Speaking on Onua FM’s morning show, Yen Nsem Pa, Sheikh Tophic Sienu said, unlike Anas, Kwesi Nyantakyi has no videos to back his claim but would rather tender Anas’ own video to the court. He said a critical look at Anas’ video clearly shows that the allegations he leveled against Nyantakyi has loopholes. The spokesperson was responding to the question on whether the former GFA boss has any evidence at his disposal to fight the legal battle against Anas. “Mr. Nyantakyi has no video to back his claim, he’ll rather use Anas’ video in court. I don’t think the judges would prevent Nyantakyi from tendering Anas’ videos because they aren’t his work. “They’ll give him the opportunity to tender those videos.” Sheikh Tophic further added that Nyantakyi has tickets, receipts and bills of the hotel he lodged which he intends to include as evidence. He however noted that Anas was yet to be served with the writ of summons, but said that would be done this week. By Nana Owusuaa Osei-Kuffour |3news.com|Ghana]]>
