The family of late Vincent E. McCauley, Jr., has confirmed that the ace Ghanaian actor was suffering from brain tumor.
Vincent McCauley, an administrator and actor, died on Monday, 15 January 2024.
His demise follows a surgery he underwent in South Africa for a brain tumor, the family said in a statement that announced the actor’s death.
“His was a glorious magnificent transition, having the great privilege to see and encounter Heaven,” the heartfelt family statement said.
Vincent was a well-known figure in the Ghanaian film industry who starred in various movies.
He was celebrated for his role as “Max” in the popular series ‘Things We Do For Love’.
He also featured prominently in television series such as YOLO, Games People Play, Fortune Island, Office Palava, Living With Trisha: House of Secrets, and The Idiot and I.
Many have shared fond memories and paid tribute to the actor on social media.
The 48-year-old was equally cherished by his colleagues, students, and friends at Soul Clinic International School, where he served as an administrator.
“Our Vincent now has Eternity of Rest,” the family intimated, “he leaves a large void and will be greatly missed.”
His family described him as “a gem” who was a “gift straight from God”, noting how he was greatly loved and cherished.

It is with a thankful heart that we announce the ushering into the presence of God Almighty, our son, brother, uncle and friend; Vincent E. McCauley, Jr., (now of Blessed Memory) on Monday 15 January 2024, after undergoing surgery in South Africa for a brain tumor.
His was a glorious magnificent transition, having the great privilege to see and encounter Heaven.
An administrator at Soul Clinic International School, Vincent was an ardent actor who starred in many films and TV productions, including being celebrated for his role as “Max” in the popular series ‘Things We Do For Love’.
