The National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP), Hajia Fati Forgor, has added another significant milestone to her professional career after graduating as a Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA).
Hajia Forgor was among a select group of Ghanaians decorated by the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana (CIAMC) at a ceremony held in Accra on October 30, 2026.
Her latest achievement marks an important addition to her professional credentials and underscores her commitment to continuous learning, professional development and excellence in public service.
Taking to Facebook to announce her accomplishment, the GSFP National Coordinator expressed gratitude to God for a successful completion of the professional programme.
“I say Alhamdulillah for a successful completion of a professional programme as a Chartered Professional Administrator from the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants Ghana.
“With hard work, determination and focus, one can never achieve less,” she wrote.
A milestone beyond the certificate
For the Ghana School Feeding Programme, the achievement offers another reason to celebrate its National Coordinator, whose professional development comes alongside her responsibilities in managing a programme that supports school enrolment, attendance, retention, and child nutrition particularly among children from vulnerable households.
The Ghana School Feeding Programme, in a congratulatory message on its official Facebook page, also celebrated the achievement, describing it as a moment of pride for the institution.
“Please join us in congratulating our National Coordinator, Hajia Fati Forgor, for successfully graduating from the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana (CIAMC) as a Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA),” the Programme stated.
It further prayed for God’s blessings upon her certificate, expressing hope that the knowledge and skills acquired would become a valuable asset to the School Feeding Programme and the nation at large.

Strengthening the Ghana School Feeding Programme
Hajia Forgor’s latest professional accomplishment comes at a time when she is spearheading efforts to strengthen the operations, accountability and effectiveness of the Ghana School Feeding Programme.
Since assuming office in March 2025, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving programme implementation, strengthening institutional coordination and ensuring that the initiative delivers on its mandate of providing nutritious meals to schoolchildren across the country.
One of the notable features of her leadership has been an intensified monitoring and supervision regime. Through unannounced visits to beneficiary schools and operational centres, she has sought to assess meal quality, inspect food preparation and serving arrangements, identify operational challenges and ensure compliance with established programme standards.
Her leadership has equally been characterised by sustained stakeholder engagement, particularly with Regional and District Directors of Education, caterers, GSFP Regional and Zonal Coordinators as part of efforts to address implementation challenges, improve communication and strengthen coordination between the national secretariat and stakeholders.
Tackling caterer payment
Another important area of attention under her administration has been the issue of outstanding payments owed to caterers.
Recognising the critical role caterers play in the successful implementation of the programme, Hajia Forgor has prioritised prompt payment of caterers, which has received round commendation among stakeholders.
The issue of delayed payments has in the past been one of the major concerns confronting the School Feeding Programme, with implications for caterers’ ability to procure foodstuffs, maintain consistent meal preparation and sustain uninterrupted service delivery.
The Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana (CIAMC), which conferred the professional designation on Hajia Fati Forgor, is a professional examining, licensing and regulatory institution established to promote excellence in professional administration and management consultancy.
Its core mandate includes promoting professional standards and excellence in administration and management consultancy through the training and chartering of qualified members.
Hajia Forgor’s attainment of the Chartered Professional Administrator status reinforces the importance of professional development in public sector leadership, where effective administration, strategic planning, accountability and sound management are essential to institutional performance.
As she celebrates this milestone, expectations will be high that the additional knowledge and skills acquired will further strengthen her leadership and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the quality, efficiency and sustainability of the Ghana School Feeding Programme.
