President Mahama mentioned few of his achievements especially in the area of infrastructure[/caption] President John Dramani Mahama has told Ghanaians he did his best for the nation under his four-year leadership, but would allow history to be his judge as he leaves office this week. The president was delivering his last State of the Nation Address to the Sixth Parliament on Thursday, a requirement enshrined in Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution. President Mahama in an unusually short address said everything he did under his tenure was done with “good intention”. He maintained rather humbly, “I have done my best, given my all”. President Mahama lost the December elections to Nana Akufo-Addo who would be sworn in on January 7. In his concluding remarks to Parliament, Mr. Mahama said he was passing on the baton of leadership “with pride, goodwill and determination”. He also pointed out: “As I have said before, I will allow history to be the judge of how I have served our nation, how well I have done my part in running my lap of the relay. “What that verdict will ultimately be, I cannot say.
