Kofi Adams[/caption] The Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, says if the National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has finished squandering the money his party “stole” while in power within one month in opposition, he [Kofi Adams] will not get any money from him [Kwame Baffoe]. Mr. Adams finally filed a suit claiming 3 million cedis damage against deputy General Secretary of the NPP Nana Obiri Boahene, David Asante, a member of the NPP communications team and Kwame Baffoe, alias Abronye DC, the Brong Ahafo Youth Organiser of the NPP. According Kofi Adams, the three made defamatory statements against him when they alleged that he stole state vehicles after national security operatives seized five cars from his house. The vehicles have since been returned after the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of police found out that the vehicles were his. Speaking on the suit on Onua 95.1 FM’s Yen Nsempa hosted by Bright Asempa on Thursday, Mr. Baffoe said the suit is in confirmation a popular phrase that “any idiot can go court”. He said even though he has not been served with any sermons, he is ready to face Mr. Adams in court. Mr. Baffoe described the suit as a “communist inferior tactics” by the NDC Organizer to prevent him from continuing the retrieval of the state vehicles that are in possessions of some former government appointees “but I will do it more. They should prepare to file more in court”. The Abronye DC said so far, 13 vehicles belonging to the state have been retrieved in the Brong Ahafo Region and are currently parked at the Regional Coordinating Council premises. He alleged that a bulldozer and a tipper truck belonging to the Local Government Ministry that were in possession of one Mohammed Seidu who is the NDC regional organizer has also been retrieved. Mr. Baffoe observed that the Brong Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council premises is now a tourist center as people troop to the place to catch a glimpse of the seized vehicles.
