he New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Adentan, Akosua Kozie Manu, has urged Ghanaians not to repeat what she describes as the mistake of 2008.
According to her, when Ghanaians voted for the NDC in 2008, they ended up undoing all the gains the NPP had made between 2000 and 2008.
“I plead, please let’s not repeat what happened in 2008 again. NPP must continue. When we say breaking the eight, NPP comes in, builds the foundation, builds the first floor, then Ghanaians make a mistake and go for the opposition, then they destroy the first floor and the foundation.
“2024 we won’t repeat that mistake again. We are moving forward with Dr. Bawumia,” She said while addressing party faithfuls during Dr Bawumia’s visit on Friday.
Manu also took a jab at NDC Member of Parliament for Adentan Adamu Ramadan for allegedly claiming projects she has initiated.
“…When I do something then he claims responsibility, disregard him, he knows nothing about it,” she stated.
